Local Authors of Children’s Books Will Sign Their Books and Meet With Young Readers

Christ’s Church Academy invites community children and their parents to its Second Annual “Author Extravaganza” on Monday, Dec. 12, where they can meet local authors, see them bring their stories to life through special presentations, purchase books and have them signed.

The event will be from 3 to 6:30 p.m. and admission is free of charge. Attending authors will donate a portion of their book sales to CCA’s elementary program.

Local authors scheduled to attend are: Al and Sherry Bohl, Larry Levy, Jennifer Swanson, Jenny Bjork, Heather Surface, Eric Reinhold, Eileen Erikson, Katherine Ciriello Clark, Cynthia Enuton, Jane Wood, Stephanie Mayberry, Cheryl Dubberly, Betsy Lee and Karen Putzke.

"I appreciated being part of the 'Author Extravaganza’ last year," author Eileen Erikson said. "It was inspiring to be introduced to the eager children at the school, answering questions, signing books and reading to a very eager young audience, and I am looking forward, again, to be a participant in this event."
