Kirkland's to Celebrate Opening of Jacksonville Store | Events

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Specialty home décor retailer Kirkland’s will celebrate the grand opening of its new store in the Mandarin Landing Shopping Center in Jacksonville on June 30 – July 1.

Local interior designers Christy McCarthy and Heather Jones will showcase Kirkland’s items and provide design tips for customers from 1 to 4 p.m. Customers are encouraged to bring photos of rooms or floor plans of spaces they are decorating for a free, personalized design consultation.

“We are looking forward to welcoming customers to the new Jacksonville store, and think everyone will enjoy the one-on-one consultations with Christy McCarthy and Heather Jones,” said Michelle Graul, senior vice president of human resources and stores for Kirkland’s. “Customers will see how Kirkland’s products can make a room stylish and comfortable at an affordable price.”

The new Jacksonville location will employ 15 to 18 people and is one of 299 stores throughout the nation. The stores offer an extensive selection of decorative items, gifts and seasonal merchandise.

The grand-opening celebration will last from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Saturday, June 30, and 12 to 6 p.m. on Sunday, July 1. The free design consultations will occur from 1 to 4 p.m. All are welcome to attend.
