Retro collectibles on display in Mandarin

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Vintage collectible junkies will be able to get their fix in Mandarin on Sunday.

The Retr-O-Rama Pop Culture Collectibles Show will have items such as comic books, movie posters, toys and dolls to buy, sell or trade from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Ramada Inn Conference Center, 3130 Hartley Road, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Memorabilia will be available from The Beatles, G.I. Joe, Star Wars, Hot Wheels and more, according to a release. Admission is $4 for adults and $1 for children 12 and under.

The vintage 1966 Batmobile will also be on display, and one fan will even get a chance to ride in the car for 30 minutes as part of a charity raffle for Ronald McDonald House.

The show will also pay tribute to Zaat, a cult science-fiction movie that was filmed on the First Coast. Zaat musical director Jamie DeFrates will be on hand to play selections from the movie. The show is also dedicated to the memory of Zaat's director Don Barton, who died in June.
