JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Surveillance video from the Welcome Food Store in Mandarin shows two men trying to steal an ATM.

Police were called to the store in the 11500 block of San Jose Boulevard around 6 a.m. Wednesday morning by an employee who found the front door of the store had been pried open, according to an information report from the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office.

The employee told police the person who broke in had tried to also pry open the front counter area.

When they were unable to do so, they left the store.

Nothing else inside the store was touched or disturbed, according to the report.

Surveillance video shows two men trying to steal the store's ATM with two ropes from their truck. Their attempt failed when one of the ropes broke.

Anyone with information about the identity of the suspect is asked to contact the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office at (904) 630-0500 or via email. People wishing to remain anonymous may contact First Coast CrimeStoppers at 1-866-845-TIPS.  You may be eligible to receive a cash reward.
