JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Looking for a "fur"ever friend? Jacksonville Animal Care and Protective Services is making it easier.
Due to Tropical Storm Debby, the shelter is overrun with dogs and puppies, so adoption fees have been waived until further notice to help these animals find homes.
According to a release from First Coast No More Homeless Pets, the only fee that will still apply is the city's mandatory $20 license fee.
If you can't adopt, JACPS and FCNMHP is also looking for foster parents to take the animals in until they find a permanent home.
