Motorcyclist in critical condition after Losco Road crash | News

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- A crash involving a motorcyclist shut down Losco Road in Mandarin Tuesday morning for nearly three hours.

Traffic Homicide investigators were called to the scene around 3:56 a.m. at the intersection of Losco Road and Windtree Drive.

The motorcycle appears to be the only vehicle involved, according to Lt. Dolores Patterson with the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office.

Patterson said the driver of that motorcycle was transported to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.

Losco Road was closed through 7 a.m. Drivers could use Greenland Road or Hood Road as alternate routes.

It's not yet clear how the crash happened. JSO is still investigating the cause.
