Average retail gasoline prices in Jacksonville have fallen 0.9 cents per gallon in the past week, averaging $3.74/g yesterday. This compares with the national average that has increased 2.8 cents per gallon in the last week to $3.83/g, according to gasoline price website JacksonvilleGasPrices.com.

One person is dead following an eight-vehicle wreck on Phillips Highway today.

All southbound lanes of Phillips just north of Baymeadows Road are blocked and likely will not reopen until around 3 p.m.

Ride the Beaches Trolley FREE on Sunday, April 17

The Beaches Trolley, a year?round service running between Atlantic Beach and Jacksonville Beach, including Neptune Beach, will be FREE on Sunday, April 17 in honor of the official Opening of the Beaches for summer fun. The Beaches Trolley will run from 5:46 a.m. to 12:43 a.m. Its route covers approximately five miles with nearly 40 stops in each direction including the Atlantic Village Shopping Center, Hugenot Park, Jacksonville Beach City Hall and the South Beach Regional Shopping Center. Hop on or off at any stop without paying a thing, and leave traffic and parking hassles behind!
